Swappable adapters drive Claude Code CLI, Gemini CLI, Codex CLI, Hermes agents, and GitHub PRs today — and any CLI agent that reads a JSON task envelope and prints JSON back works with zero per-harness code.
The contract is small on purpose: JSON in on stdin, JSON out on stdout. If your agent speaks that, the engine can drive it.
